Golf, Lunch, and various other ramblings...

I HATE golf. Hate it. Everything about it. Its the dumbest sport ever invented. Hit a ball, chase a ball. Hit a ball, chase a ball. What kind of fun is that?!?! Oh, and it's expensive as balls too! It's just an all-around dumb game, especially when it cuts into things that I want to do that don't involve golf. For instance, this weekend we are planning to go to Tulsa, right? Well it's a 5 hour trip from Arlington to Tulsa, so it makes sense to leave Friday night and come back Monday night, right? Well, apparently not. Due to some STUPID GOLF TOURNAMENT, we have to wake up early Saturday morning, go to that, THEN we can leave to drive 5 hours to Tulsa. It's great for everyone else, because they get to sleep, but I have to drive. FML. Then we're spending the day there Sunday, and turning around and coming home Monday morning. Sounds great, huh? I absolutely hate golf. Not to mention the part where it's all anybody in our family ever talks about at home...I'm so tired of hearing about it... Anyway. First band practice for chapel tonight. I hope it goes swimmingly. I'm going to be pretty cheesed off if Zach Harris doesn't show up. Oh, and today, Alissa Wagner and Kellyn Grunwald come up to me at the end of lunch and they're all, "please please please take us to Sonic?" Apparently they left Kellyn's car there and walked back to school with someone, who ironically is Kalli's neighbor, and then they want me to rush over to Sonic to let them get the car. I'm like, "What the tit? I'm gonna be late!" Anyway, I wasn't late, but I was rushed. Oh well. Possibility of seeing Kalli tonight...we'll see. I'm gonna try to do this blog thing everyday, but I'll have to be coming up with funny, yet relatively clean stories for y'all. Oh. I found out today that Mr. Condo has driven the Auotbahn. Cody and I thought that was pretty cool. I wish my car went faster than 101 mph...the next car I get will go faster and be more pwerful. It will also be a truck. I'm thinkin an early-2000's F-150 or Silverado extended cab pickup. Oh, and I want four wheel drive. Looks cooler. And I want a V8. Never know when you might need that. Sometimes I wish I had it in Oklahoma. OH! One more VERY important thing it has to have- AIR CONDITIONING! This summer, I have grown to have a deep and unfaltering appreciation for A/C. At the begining I told Dad, "oh, it's fine. I can deal with it..." I was wrong. I would die without it. Sometimes I do WITH it. I really only was saying that, though, because that was the day I was leaving for Oklahoma by myself, and I really wanted to go and it put my trip in jeopardy. But I went, and it was an absolutely awesome experience. You know who I miss right now? Brittany Nicole Richardson. In fact, as soon as I publish this, I'm going to go find her BlogSpot. I went to it once and it was all pink. I'm sure it still is. I hope I can find some cool people on this thing. Anyway, as John would say, 10-4.
